Moviegoers, get ready for the upcoming science-fiction western setting film titled Cowboys and Aliens from the director of Iron Man films Jon Favreau. The movie is based on Scott Mitchell Rosenberg 2006 graphic novel of the same name. It is scheduled to be out on theaters on July 29, 2011.

The Cowboys and Aliens 2011 sci-fi film stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde.

Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci joined forces for the screenplay of the movie.

Cowboys and Aliens plot is set in Arizona in the year 1873 when a loner named Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) awakes with no knowledge of his past and a mysterious thing on his wrist. He enters the town of Absolution where he learns that he is a deadly criminal. The place soon faces attacks from alien spacecraft and the only way to stop them is they joined forces to bring down the enemies.
