John Leguizamo to return to Broadway show

John Leguizamo, a 46-year-old comedian actor, will return to Broadway show and he will bring some hilarious stories regarding Hollywood.

On Wednesday, the actor said that the newest episode of his one-man autobiographical show will mark his first come back to live performing in a decade. “Ghetto Klown”, the title of the show, tracks Leguizamo’s beginnings as a performer.

He started on doing experimental theater on “Miami Vice” then to his list of movie credits that include starring with Al Pacino in “Carlito’s Way”, Wesley Snipes and Patrick Swayze in “To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar”, Steven Seagal in “Executive Decision” and Sean Penn in “Casualties of War”.

Moreover, Leguizamo said via phone from Cartagena, Columbia that the films gave him some broader exposure and reputation but they did not gave him the artistic pleasure that he was looking for. The show “Ghetto Klown” is the fourth episode of his extremely personal series of one-man shows that include “Sexaholix”, “Freak” and “Spic-O-Rama”.

In addition, in every of his shows, Leguizamo looked into his childhood days, his impaired parents, his swaggering friends and his point of views about sex, all the while making fun of Latino attitudes, Italian toughs and Irish lasses.

The actor also said that there will be a bounty of dishing, but it will be for the appropriate reasons. Leguizamo added that when a show runs two hours, viewers do not want to only sit there simply for tales and rumors that were out of school. He also added that there is got to be expects more and he have to be more strong on himself than on his viewers.

Lastly, “Ghetto Klown” was displayed in previous personification in cities such as Montreal, Toronto, Berkeley, California; Santa Fe, New Mexico; New Haven, Connecticut and Philadelphia’s Just for Laughs Festival.
