Host of The Oprah Winfrey Show talks with Sarah Ferguson
Winfrey and Ferguson have also collaborated for a six-part document series on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) called Finding Sarah, the fourth episode will be aired on July 10 at 8:00 p.m. On a first meeting, the Duchess of York does not look like a woman encumbered in self-loathing and uncertainty.
Ferguson steps into the office of her publisher in Midtown crisply dressed in a dress and blazer that highlight her shapely figure. The Duchess of York also spent the past hour tied up in a traffic jam but she does not looks like disconcerted.
Offering a handshake and a smile, Ferguson sits down to discuss her newest book entitled Finding Sarah: A Duchess’s Journey To Find Herself. In addition, the Duchess of York illustrates a enduring struggle for the approval of others and self-acceptance. It is also the topic both of a six-part document series and her journal on the OWN, also called Finding Sarah.
The author of several lifestyle and children’s books, the Duchess of York had initially wanted her latest book to concentrate on mothering. She said that it is a one job that she thinks she has done giftedly. She is the mother of Princess Beatrice, 22, and Princess Eugenie, 20, by ex-husband Prince Andrew, whom Ferguson divorced in 1996.
That plan melted in May last year, when she was unintentionally taped by a British scandalous reporter posing as a businessman interested to spend in her charitable pursuits. In a part of the video that the Duchess of York said was taken out of situation, Ferguson suggested that a contribution may open doors to Andrew.
